Olive Oil

At Zeea, we know our olives which means we’re also experts when it comes to olive oil. We believe our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the best around and, thanks to our many years of experience and traditional techniques, can provide a superior product to the food manufacturing industry for use in bread, dips and many more of the foods you eat on a daily basis.
While you may think all olive oils are the same, there is a huge difference in quality and flavour between them.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is oil obtained from olives after the first pressing with an acidity between 0 and 1, Virgin Olive Oil is oil obtained from olives after the first pressing with an acidity between 1 and 1.5, and Pure olive oil, also known simply as olive oil, is a blend of refined olive oil and extra virgin olive oil.
Refined olive oil is obtained from refining olive oil with an acidity level greater than 1.5, the flavour and aroma is then removed from the oil and the acidity is brought down to 0 using a chemical process, then extra virgin olive oil is added to impart aroma and flavour on the oil.
There are many taste profiles within the differenttypes of extra virgin olive oils available, so you need to choose the one you like best.At Zeea, we harvest our freshest olives quickly and hygienically before cold pressing them in our modern machinery that mimics and improves on the traditional stone pressing method and extracts oil from the olive fruit.
The result is an aromatic extra virgin olive oil of a very high quality and a very low acidity rating after first pressing. Bearing in mind that the allowed acidity range for extra virgin olive oil is 0.1 to 1.0 and that most extra virgin olive oils are sold with acidity ranging between 0.3 and 0.7, we’re happy that our extra virgin olive oil sits around the 0.2 acidity mark, and we’re sure you will be too.
